About this greenhouse
Most cold frames are an afterthought; ours is built on the same bench as our greenhouses. The frame is powder-coated aluminium, the glazing is 4mm toughened safety glass (not horticultural glass that shatters into shards), and the twin lids hold securely in three positions for graduated ventilation. Use it to harden off seedlings in spring, overwinter alpines, or force early salads — and expect it to outlive every timber frame you have ever owned.
